Product Description:

Benzanthrone is light yellow needle-like crystals. Soluble in ethanol and other organic solvents, insoluble in water, and soluble in sulfuric acid to form an orange liquid with red light and green fluorescence. The melting point is 170°C.

It is used to make dark vat dyes, such as Vat brilliant purple RR, vat deep blue BO.
