1.Process difficulties
Due to the low shear force of the powder coating processing equipment, the insufficient wetting of the pigments in the processing process, and the incomplete understanding of the performance of organic pigments, the current common problems in the production of powder coatings are insufficient temperature resistance and poor dispersion.
2.Poor dispersion
Poor dispersion is mainly concentrated in difficult-to-disperse pigments such as blue, green, and purple. Carbon black has the hardest particles, and the higher the pigment, the more difficult it is to disperse. Therefore, low-pigment carbon black is currently widely used, and the formula has been used until now; organic pigments have dispersion problems Mainly concentrated in phthalocyanine blue and phthalocyanine green, because the particles of phthalocyanine blue green are also relatively hard
3.HEAT ISSUE
The lack of heat resistance reflects the fact that there are multiple pigment components in the formula. There is no problem in color matching, but it is easy to fade and change color after production and processing, and its light resistance and weather resistance have declined. This is mainly because it is not right choice in the formula. Simply speaking, it means the pigment is not matched properly.
